The Jay Otto Ski / Memorial dedication
Saturday March 29th...a year ago we lost Jay. This past Saturday the family, his work associates, Patrol, friends of Jay and the hill were all present for a very emotional and special service above the Wall. The rock memorial is just above Log Chute road under the chair 6 line in the second tree group. If you have not been there, please take a ride over and take a moment to feel the Love shared. Brian from the Grizzly was reporting, watch for the news this week if you missed the event.

local business starts to Help!
Local business has started to pay attention to our project. The Big Bear Today broke the story in December. The Big Bear Grizzly is focusing right now. KBHR radio 93.3 FM and bigbearnews.com are currently running the story as well. WE are officially on the map!
Current support has come from: Goldsmith's Board shop, Big Bear Urgent care, Maggio's Pizza and Alpine Sports Center.

This project is solely funded by:
    *Area participation
    *Cash gifts
    *Material gifts
    *Labor gifts

Many of you may want to help and we appreciate this. Due to liability and the nature of this project the best way to focus your effort is in the cash gift catagory. The fund has been set up and you may contact us for more information. The hill refresher weekend was our official fund raising launch, focused at the dinner Saturday night. It's not too late to get in on this once in a life time opportunity to plant your name on the hill with this project. ALL gifts are needed and will be accounted for. This is NOT a non-profit effort...so there is no tax deduction.
There is no profit in this work either, rest assuered your money WILL be purchasing materials for the building and equipment only. All acounting, administration, legal counsel, building, hauling...every labor effort by our team is donated.
